Okabe & Haushalter Mar 2, 2010 Sex Crimes

A man will stand trial in Los Angeles after admitting to the FBI that he paid to have sex with a 14-year-old girl and several other children in Cambodia.

Michael Dodd, 59, is accused of traveling overseas to have sex with a minor. Dodd was in Cambodia teaching English when he was arrested by Cambodian authorities in 2008. A Cambodian court convicted Dodd of having a sexual relationship with the 14-year-old girl.

He has since been turned over to the U.S. and is now back on U.S. soil. It has not yet been reported when Dodd’s U.S. trial is scheduled to begin.
