Twenty-seven-year-old C.A. of Garden Grove, CA was arrested on Wednesday, November 23rd. Her husband and two-year-old daughter were away visiting family when she was invited by a neighbor to join him and two friends for a drink in their apartment. At some point in the night, she went back to her own apartment and put her baby in his car seat before bringing him to back to the neighbor’s apartment to continue drinking. At around 4 a.m. she returned home. She woke up at 6 a.m. and called 911 because she could not find the infant. By the time police arrived, she had found the two-month-old and had placed him on the bed. During the night, he had somehow fallen into a pile of clothes and suffocated. C.A. is currently on a $1 million warrant and is likely to be charged on Monday.
